This beautiful 10-acre park is a crown jewel of the Marina. Jutting out into the main channel, it offers one of the best vista points, and is perfect for a morning jog or leisurely picnic or BBQ. It’s also a great place to just sit back and watch the sunset.
Burton W. Chace Park offers a multi-purpose room picnic tables, barbecues, pergolas, picnic shelters, outdoor programs, great harbor viewing areas, guest docks, and is host to numerous year-round events. The park is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

WEEKLY CLASSES
YOGA WITH DAVID LILLY - FREE
Learn the fundamentals of yoga with Instructor David Lilly in a friendly and supportive environment. The program is aimed at improving flexibility, strength, and overall well-being.
BURTON CHACE PARK WALKING CLUB
Looking for a new way to exercise? Join the Department’s weekly walking group to increase your heart rate and daily step count while taking in beautiful views of the Marina del Rey harbor.
SANDY BRUSHES: DRAWING & PAINTING CLASS
The Department offers a free drawing and watercolor art class for beginners (ages 14 years and older). Classes are limited to 15 people and supplies are provided.
BURTON CHACE PARK ZUMBA CLASS
Ditch your boring workout and join the Department’s free outdoor Zumba class at Burton Chace Park to get cardio-fit while moving to the rhythms of Latin-inspired dance and music! Each class is limited to 15 people.
BURTON CHACE PARK YOGA CLASS
Enjoy morning yoga classes with Anastasia starting back on April 7th at Burton Chace Park. Learn how to connect breathing with asanas to ensure the best rejuvenation of your body. Sign up today for this weekly class ($10/session).

RENT OUR FACILITIES
The multi-purpose community room, park grounds, pergolas, and picnic shelters with barbecues are available for meetings or social gatherings such as weddings, receptions, birthday parties, baby showers and more.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations for rental spaces in the park are taken no earlier than 90 days prior to the event date, but no later than 15 days before the event date. All fees, proof of insurance and completed application forms are due 15 days before the event; otherwise, the event will be cancelled without a refund.
All reservations require an insurance certificate in the amount of $1 million general liability coverage and $2 million general aggregate coverage. An Additional Insured Endorsement naming “County of Los Angeles” as an additional insured is also required. Insurance may be purchased through a broker of your choice.
All reservations require a security deposit. Some reservations may require additional permits.
