BURTON CHACE PARK
This beautiful 10-acre park is a crown jewel of the Marina. Jutting out into the main channel, it offers one of the best vista points, and it is perfect for a morning jog, leisurely picnic or family BBQ. It’s also a great place to just sit back and watch the sunset.
Burton W. Chace Park is host to numerous year-round events. The park offers a multi-purpose room, picnic tables, barbecues, pergolas, picnic shelters, outdoor programs, great harbor viewing areas, and guest docks. The park is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

WEEKLY CLASSES
YOGA WITH DAVID LILLY - FREE
Learn the fundamentals of yoga with Instructor David Lilly in a friendly and supportive environment. The program is aimed at improving flexibility, strength, and overall well-being.
BURTON CHACE PARK WALKING CLUB
Looking for a new way to exercise? Join the Department’s weekly walking group to increase your heart rate and daily step count while taking in beautiful views of the Marina del Rey harbor.
SANDY BRUSHES: DRAWING & PAINTING CLASS
The Department offers a free drawing and watercolor art class for beginners (ages 14 years and older). Classes are limited to 15 people and supplies are provided.
BURTON CHACE PARK ZUMBA CLASS
Ditch your boring workout and join the Department’s free outdoor Zumba class at Burton Chace Park to get cardio-fit while moving to the rhythms of Latin-inspired dance and music! Each class is limited to 15 people.

Marina Spooktacular
Join us for two days of fun and scares for all ages at Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey on Saturday and Sunday, October 25–26, from 4 PM to 10 PM. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome! The thrills grow spookier as night falls—don’t miss it!

Marina Drum Circle
Enjoy and take part in the interactive Marina Drum Circle, held Sundays from August 17 to October 19, with your choice of two 60-minute sessions at 11:30 AM or 1:30 PM, led by Christopher Ramirez of Freedom Drum Circles.

RENT OUR FACILITIES
The multi-purpose community room, park grounds, pergolas, and picnic shelters with barbecues are available for meetings or social gatherings such as weddings, receptions, birthday parties, baby showers and more.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations for rental spaces in the park are taken no earlier than 90 days prior to the event date, but no later than 21 days before the event date. All fees, proof of insurance and completed application forms are due 21 days before the event; otherwise, the event will be cancelled without a refund.
All reservations require an insurance certificate in the amount of $1 million general liability coverage and $2 million general aggregate coverage. An Additional Insured Endorsement naming “County of Los Angeles” as an additional insured is also required. Insurance may be purchased through a broker of your choice.
All reservations require a security deposit. Some reservations may require additional permits.

Stay overnight on our guest docks for up to seven nights within a 30-day period.
