LANGUAGE ACCESS
The Department of Beaches and Harbors manages the Marina del Rey harbor and 23 miles of beaches along the Los Angeles County coast, including world-famous Zuma, Malibu Surfrider, Venice, Dockweiler and Manhattan beaches. In addition to promoting and maintaining a clean coastline, the Department operates Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey and the Dockweiler Youth Center and Dockweiler RV Park at Dockweiler State Beach, and encourages coastal access for everyone through initiatives like Marina del Rey for All. We aim to ensure that our programs and services are inclusive of Los Angeles County’s linguistically diverse communities.
