Join us for the 62nd Annual Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade on Saturday, December 14, 2024. 

Burton Chace Park | Event Schedule:
– 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Voices of Christmas (roaming carolers)
– 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Gourmet food truck fare, festive photo booth fun, kids art corner
– 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM | Drone Show (*Subject to change based on weather or unforeseen circumstances.)
– 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Holiday Boat Parade

There are 11 public parking lots in Marina del Rey, which are open 24 hours.  Plan to arrive to the Marina early as the lots fill up quickly.

How will traffic be at the event?

Due to the popularity of this event, expect heavy traffic delays on the roads surrounding the Marina del Rey area.

How do I get around Marina del Rey?

Alternate Transportation:

  • The Marvin Braude Coastal Bike Trail is a 22-mile paved bicycle path that runs along the Los Angeles County coastline, from Will Rogers State Beach in Pacific Palisades to Torrance County Beach in Torrance. The bike trail runs through Marina del Rey from Dockweiler State Beach to Washington Boulevard near Venice Beach.
  • Rideshare:  Passengers using rideshare services, such as Lyft or Uber, should expect extended delays in service times due to heavy traffic in Marina del Rey. Rideshare drivers are cautioned against illegally stopping or parking to pick-up/drop-off passengers, as it poses a safety risk to both parties, as well as to other motorists and pedestrians.

Please visit the Burton Chace Park office to inquire about any lost or found items. Additionally, you can email events@bh.lacounty.gov with any questions regarding lost and found items during the event.

  • Cigarettes, vapes
  • Illegal substances (including narcotics) or drug paraphernalia
  • Medical or recreational use marijuana
  • Alcohol
  • Aerosol cans or sprays
  • Fireworks, sparklers, or incendiary devices
  • Tents, canopies, umbrellas of any kind
  • Video recording equipment
  • Professional still camera equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, large zoom lenses, and/or commercial-use camera assemblies)
  • Drones
  • Audio recording equipment
  • Focused-light devices, including laser pointers
  • Items intended for sale/promotion
  • Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or inflict damage to people and goods
