The Small Craft Harbor Commission on December 10, 2025 has been cancelled due to lack of new business.

The Small Craft Harbor Commission is responsible for making recommendations to the Board of Supervisors concerning issues relating to the operation and management of Marina del Rey.
While the Commission regularly convenes on the second Wednesday of every other month, the Commission has requested that some meetings occur on a different date as reflected in the Department Calendar. The meetings will continue to be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Burton Chace Park Community Room (except as noted on the Department Calendar).
REGULATORY
- ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility issues and compliance. Links to ADA information online: State, Federal, ADA Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities (ADAAG)
- Informing and educating the Department on changing laws and regulations involving coastal issues pertaining to water quality, protected species and plants, coastal erosion, dredging and ADA laws
- Monitoring and reporting on legislative bills, identifying changes to existing law, estimating impact to the overall mission of the Department and draft bill analyses, reviewing proposed current year State and Federal Agendas and drafting recommendations incorporating Department and County priorities
