NOTICE: Due to COVID-19, the Department’s main Administrative Office Building is CLOSED to public entrance.
Senior Parking Pass applications and payments MUST BE SUBMITTED BY POSTAL MAIL only.

This parking pass allows California residents who are at least 62 years of age to park at select lots operated by the LA County Department of Beaches & Harbors on non-holiday WEEKDAYS (Monday‐Friday) during open hours (excluding lots with the following denotation: **), and on non-holiday WEEKEND MORNINGS (Saturday‐Sunday) 6 AM – 9 AM (excluding lots with the following denotation: *).
- Age 62 and up
- Vehicle must be registered to applicant
- Must have proof of California residency
RESTRICTIONS:
- Pass is not valid on County holidays (on actual or observed dates). See list below.
- Pass is valid for 12 months from date of issue.
- Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing after receipt of application.
- RVs or vehicles over 20 feet not permitted.
- All replacement passes cost $25, including for passes lost in the mail.
- Citations for failure to comply with Senior Parking Pass Usage Rules or parking lot rules will not be waived.
- We are not responsible for permits lost in the mail. All purchases are final. NO REFUNDS.
- We reserve the right to revise the list of eligible parking lots at any time.
PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
- A copy of your current California* Driver’s License
- A copy of your current California* vehicle registration
- A completed “Annual Senior Parking Pass Application” form
- Payment of $25.00 per pass.
*For non-CA licenses/registrations: please also submit proof of your CA residency (e.g., copy of your utility bill or lease agreement).
PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED:
- Mail-in payments: Checks only (payable to “LA County Beaches & Harbors”)
- In-person payments: Cash, check, or credit card (Visa/Mastercard only)
