Notification for Saturday Construction Work
on Via Marina

Crews from the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works are expected to work Saturday, Sept. 23, on Via Marina as part of the Venice Dual Force Main project.

According to the construction notice, crews will be working on the traffic control change on Via Marina between Marquesas Way and Via Marina Court. Work will include site preparation, street striping and partial demolition of concrete and asphalt medians. (Read the full construction notice.)

There will be access for local traffic at all times, and driveway access will be maintained for businesses and residents for deliveries.

Work hours will be from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Construction on the entire Venice Dual Force Main project, which involves building a new 54-inch diameter force main sewer line from the Venice Pumping Plant to the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant, is scheduled to last through summer 2020.
