Introducing Low-Cost Parking at Dockweiler State Beach

MARINA DEL REY (Aug. 17, 2017)—Starting Monday, Aug. 21, visitors to Dockweiler State Beach will be able to take advantage of lower-cost parking at some of the beach’s parking lots.

The first 300 vehicles at the Imperial Highway entrance to the parking lots Monday through Friday will pay $3 to park. On weekends and holidays, the first 300 vehicles will pay $5. All other vehicles will pay the regular summer rate of $8 on weekdays and $13 on weekends and holidays.

The current rate will be posted at the lot entrance, and it will be updated when the rates increase after the first 300 vehicles.

All vehicles, including those charged the lower rate, can stay until the lots close at 10 p.m.

The low-cost parking is not available at the Dockweiler Youth Center.
